Zak Gaibi

Senior Partner McKinsey & Company

Zak Gaibi is a Senior Partner in McKinsey’s Johannesburg office and leads McKinsey’s Transformation practice for the EEMA region. Additionally, he co-leads McKinsey’s Energy and Mining practice across Africa. Zak works exclusively on large-scale transformations across sectors and geographies – he has led some of the firm’s largest transformations globally and worked across 30+ countries. He also serves as an advisor to several tech startups, with a particular interest in those that leverage mobile data and advanced analytics.

Zak received his B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University and his M.B.A. from Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
