Experience and Education
•    25 Years of experience across project and export finance, power, infrastructure, metals and mining finance and reserve base lending.
•    Extensive experience in the power sector, specifically in renewable energy and gas fired projects having acted as both advisor and debt arranger for projects across Africa. 
•    Actively involved in the South African renewable energy market, both on Government backed programs and the captive power market, leading the bank’s charges to arrange financing for over 4GW of projects. 
•    Has closed deals across all major commodities including gold, platinum, coal, chrome, mineral sands, diamonds, copper as well as oil and gas. 
•    Qualified Chartered Accountant with a B.Com Honours in Accounting.

Selected Transactions
•    South Africa renewable energy program – closed 33 projects across wind, solar PV and CSP technololgies.
•    Advising and debt arranging for Sasols 175 MW gas fired power project in Mozambique.
•    Re-financing of Gigajoule’s 120 MW gas fired power plant in Mozambique.
•    Maamba Coal IPP – MLA and ECA Advisor on the $828 million project financing in favour of the 300 MW Maamba Coal IPP.
•    Bujugali – MLA on the $867 million project financing in favour of 250MW Bujugali Hydro Power Plant in Uganda.
