As leading ESG lender technical advisor and ESG partner for Asset/Portfolio companies in Africa we tailor ESG strategies, monitoring, evaluating frameworks, and reporting to the local legislative frameworks as well as World Bank Guidelines, IFC Performance Standards, GRI and good international industry practice. As specialists based in Africa, we understand the socio cultural and environmental dimensions and complexities facing companies investing in Africa.

As vice chairperson of the International Association for Public Participation Southern Africa,  Chairperson of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Community and Africa representative on the Global Equity Committee Thea spearheads development and advancing of diverse, equitable and inclusive stakeholder engagement.

Thea led and contributed to multi-disciplinary projects in 14 countries in Africa as well as in Europe, Papua New Guinea and the Middle East. 

Thea is an experienced facilitator, guest lecturer, key note speaker, motivational speaker and trainer (including nationwide training on labour law). In her private capacity, Thea has co-established a number of community development projects at a grass roots level with over 4 000 beneficiaries. As past mentor for the Mandela Washington Fellowship and master trainer for Paradigmshift she empowered young entrepreneurs and women in Africa.
