Simon is a Director with a highly diversified background in Sustainability, Risk Management, EHS and ESG consulting with a strong operational performance and capital infrastructure background. He is a Certified Risk Management Professional (CRM Prof.) and Professional Natural Scientist (Pr.Sci.Nat.) with Masters in Environmental Management (Cum Laude).

Simon’s core focus includes ESG adaptation and resilience, advanced risk analytics (AI-Driven Modelling), risk optimisation, helping clients to decarbonise through the low carbon economy transition, achieve netzero (netpositive) and sustainable development across the supply chain. Simon has led business development and account management across several multinationals within the energy and transport sectors. Simon has grown and led Risk Advisory Teams across Africa, Middle East and Australasia for a global engineering major and Capital Project Delivery Teams for a global sustainability firm across Africa which included multiple skillsets such as operational performance, integrated management systems, environmental and social impact assessments, management plans and E&S due diligence in accordance with international best practice.

Simon is an Executive Volunteer for the Arctic Basecamp providing subject matter expertise for the Arctic Risk Platform. This entails bringing credible scientific data and connecting it to the risks facing our planet and our individual and collective contributions to reduce the uncertainties associated with a world >1.5 °C.
