Rosalind Kainyah is an experienced Non-Executive Director and an authority and trusted advisor on Sustainability with over 30 years of combined international, legal, executive and board level experience. Her expertise and experience have been forged over three decades of working for and with businesses, from multinational companies to SMEs; government agencies; DFIs; PE firms; and international organisations across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia. 
Rosalind currently serves on the boards of Gem Diamonds Limited, WE Soda, and discoverIE plc.  Her previous NED positions include Aker Energy, Lekela Power, BTE Renewables, and CalBank plc.

Rosalind has advised companies across a variety of sectors including the extractives industry, energy, financial services, and, through work for clients such as British International Investment and Mitsui, healthcare, agriculture, consumer good and manufacturing. She was also a Senior Advisor to Actis LLP

Rosalind also has extensive experience in corporate and environmental law, government relations, and political risk management. Prior to setting up Kina Advisory Limited in 2013, she worked for Tullow Oil plc, De Beers, Linklaters, ERM, Anglo American, and UNEP.

Rosalind is a member of the Bar of England & Wales and of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
