Nasir Aljahdli is the vice president for geological programs of the Saudi Geological Survey. He is leading the technical departments conducting survey, exploration, and wide range of geoscience activities. He holds a master’s degree in Mineral Resources and a Bachelor Degree of Applied Geology (Hydrogeology). He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Minerals Exploration for both private and public organizations. He began his life working at Sukhybarat gold Mine for the Saudi Company for Precious Metal in Saudi Arabia. In the 1994 worked as a Metallic Exploration Geologists for BRGM. He joined Saudi Geological Survey in 2001 after it was established and lead several projects and departments. In 2011 he joined BARIQ-BARIK Mining LTD as a Senior representative for the Business Department. In 2012 he was assigned as the Director of Geological Survey Department of the Saudi Geological Survey and the as the Director of Mineral Exploration Department during 2014-2019.
