Ms Melanie Roy, is the Snr Research coordinator at the Research and Policy Institute of the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa. Her research expertise are in Policy, Project Management, Macroeconomics, and labour markets as well as Digitization, Modernisation and Mechanization.  She has extensive experience in the Trade Union movement and academically with universities, both locally and internationally and engages with a range of different stakeholders on a senior strategic level including on various parliamentary platforms.
