Based in Perth, Australia, Martijn Bosboom has over 30 years of international experience in the legal and governance field. He is a leading mining lawyer who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the industry. For more than a decade, Martijn has served as the General Counsel of Perseus Mining Limited, a successful gold explorer, developer and producer with operations and projects in Africa. During his time at Perseus, he has been involved in the acquisition, development and operation of multiple gold mines. Prior to this, he was General Counsel at Moly Mines Limited and Senior Legal Counsel at Newmont Australia. Throughout his career, Martijn has demonstrated proficiency in navigating complex legal landscapes, having worked in both common law and civil law jurisdictions and various industries. His extensive experience, both in-house and in private practice, enables him to provide valuable insights and strategic solutions.
