Jay Moodley

General Manager – Sales Sany Equipment – South Africa

Jay has started his career as a Qualifies Tool, Jog & Diemaker, having spent ten years in engineering and manufacturing. He then moved on to work in the Construction Power Tool industry in the Sales & Marketing space, holding positions in Sales, Product management and After Market Service Management. Jay then moved into the Road construction equipment segment as Regional General manager for Wirtgen SA, managing the KZN operations dealing with Blue Chip road construction company’s. After a successful career at Wirtgen Jay moved to Babcock Equipment SA as Regional General Manager, managing KZN, Northwest, Free State, Eastern/Western/Northern Cape. Jay was responsible for eleven locations and 180 staff members. Babcock being the sole agent for Volvo mining and construction equipment in South Africa and neighbouring countries. Currently Jay holds the position of General manager – Sales at SANY SA.
