Khalid Al Mudaifer is a highly experienced leader in the mining industry, currently serving as the Vice Minister for Mining Affairs in Saudi Arabia. With over 34 years of experience, including 25 years in executive leadership positions.
Previously, he was the CEO of Saudi Arabian Mining company (Ma'aden), where he transformed the company into a world-class mining champion. Under his leadership, Ma'aden's revenue grew by 20 times, reaching nearly 4 billion US dollars.
Before Ma'aden, Al Mudaifer held key positions such as Vice President for Phosphate and Business Development, where he played a crucial role in developing the Ma'aden Phosphate Company and planning Ras Al Khair Industrial City. He also served as the President of Qassim Cement Company and held finance-related positions at the Eastern Petrochemical Company.
Al Mudaifer is actively involved in various boards and committees, including Ma'aden and the Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO). He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Global Business from the University of Oxford, an MBA, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Saudi Arabia. His expertise and achievements continue to contribute significantly to the mining industry and the economic development of Saudi Arabia.
