Dipalesa is the Head of Social Impact at Tshikululu, leading the team responsible for strategy design, implementation, and measurement across 25+ clients (investing more than R600 million per year). Dipalesa has 16 years of diverse cross-industry experience. Prior to joining Tshikululu as a Social Investment Specialist in 2018, she worked in business and systems analysis in the financial services sector, research, and innovation management for the development of the informal economy and capacity building within research and grant management across Africa's science funding systems.
In her previous role as a Social Investment Specialist, she represented clients as a strategic partner on significant social investments and led the creation and implementation of impactful systemic initiatives within various portfolios, including Health, Livelihoods, Capacity Building, and Community Development.
Dipalesa holds a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification, an ISB® Advisor ESG certification, a Bachelor of Business Science Degree with Honours in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, and a Masters in Development Studies from the University of Witwatersrand with distinction for research. She is an AVPA Africa-Asia Impact Investing Fellow, serves on the board of the African Children’s Feeding Scheme (ACFS) and until 2023 co-chaired the Foundations’ workstream of Impact Investing South (IISA).
