Partner, Global Energy and Minerals Lead in Africa McKinsey & Company

Agesan is a Partner in McKinsey’s Johannesburg office and the leader of McKinsey’s Global Energy and Materials Practice as well as the Firm’s Strategy and Corporate Finance hub in Africa. He serves clients globally on a broad range of topics, from growth strategies and capturing value from digital and advanced analytics to operations and financial planning.

He is also engaged in understanding climate-change regulations for mining and energy clients, with a particular focus on the potential of new technologies including energy storage and renewables.

Agesan’s extensive work in Brazil, Canada, and South Africa, and his leadership of projects in Australia, China, India, the United Kingdom, and the United States, have helped clients improve their performance and prepare for the future.
