Mining Equipment Manufacturers of South Africa (MEMSA)

MEMSA is an industry cluster established in 2016 with support from the dtic through the Cluster Development Programme. MEMSA has grown to 61 members and represents a large majority of major South African mining OEMs, as well as manufacturers of mining components, consumables and software. Members range from EMEs to large well-established companies who manufacture high quality and innovative equipment. MEMSA members currently export to the SADC, as well as West Africa, South America, the U.S.A. and Europe. MEMSA’s offices are located in the Mandela Mining Precinct in Johannesburg, facilitating cooperation with the R&D community and initiatives based in the Precinct.
