GINGER SOFRECO

Ginger SOFRECO is a French company specialising in international cooperation and industrial development. 
We support funding agencies, public administrations and private stakeholders by providing consultancy, engineering and training services in three business areas: 
•    support for sectoral policies, programmes and projects aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030; 
•    the development of mining and agribusiness projects;
•    training for development stakeholders in ODA beneficiary countries through our PERSPECTIVE training centre. 
With 250 employees (headquarters staff, expatriates, and permanent consultants), 500 experts permanently on the ground, a network of more than 50,000 experts of all nationalities and specialties, and a network of international and local partners in our fields and countries of operation, we have successfully implemented more than 3,000 projects in 150 countries benefiting local populations and development stakeholders.
For almost fifty years, Ginger SOFRECO has been delivering meaningful projects in the mining sector focusing on two main areas:
•    With 30 years of experience in geology and mineral exploration, Ginger SOFRECO has built a solid track-record of successful exploration campaigns and mineral resource estimates. Our expertise is centered around mineral exploration, geological modelling and mineral resource estimate, and geological infrastructure.
•    Services to the mining industry, including mine engineering, mine planning and optimization, mine economics, ore reserve estimates, and mine operational support. 
•    Mining governance and cooperation for development: Ginger SOFRECO mining governance department has been implementing mining policies, mining codes, strategies, and provided institutional support and capacity-building to Mining Ministries and Institutions for 25 years.
