In line with the theme – “Championing Africa’s Sustainable Economic Development”, the Sustainable Development Day delivered a full day of interactive content dedicated to the resolution of the socio-environmental challenges of the mining sector.

It brought together the key members of the civil society, NGOs, government ministers, academic, financiers, mining companies and the leading innovators in the field of Responsible & Sustainable Mining.

Every year the multi-stakeholder platform enables dialogue and builds a strong, mutually-beneficials relationship between the mining industry’s decision-makers and their key stakeholders.
