Since September 2014, Louisa has been the Director of Content for Mining Indaba. She is responsible for identifying the key trends in the mining sector, developing compelling discussions to be had within the Mining Indaba platform, ensuring the smooth flow and easy navigation of the content while at Mining Indaba and securing the appropriate thought leaders as speakers at the conference. Louisa regularly engages with the market in order to develop the event in line with the demand of the African mining sector. Prior to Mining Indaba, Louisa worked for Coaltrans Conferences. She was responsible for researching and developing conferences throughout Asia, Europe and South America. She launched a number of successful new events and innovative networking formats to the conferences. Louisa has a first class degree in archaeology from the University of Bristol..

Fred Noce joined the organising team back in 2005 as the director of sales. He oversees business development and sales initiatives for the Mining Indaba brand and identifies new markets and emerging players both in and outside of Africa. He manages a team of sales professionals and consultants in these territories. Noce fully understands and supports the requirements and challenges of managing a global mining event and has guided an array of organizations through the process of integrating the Mining Indaba into their corporate portfolios. With more than 10 years’ experience leading the sales initiative for the Mining Indaba, Noce is well positioned to understand clients’ needs and propose new ideas and opportunities to retain a strong core of mining companies and bring an array of emerging players to keep the networking effective for the brand’s global audience. Fred is a graduate of California State University San Diego and holds a BA degree in Public Administration with emphasis in City Planning.He has over 14 years of conference development experience in multiple disciplines of the business.

Tracy Feinsilver, CMP, Mining Indaba

Tracy Feinsilver joined the Mining Indaba team back in June 2011. As the director of event operations, he leads the in-house event logistics and customer services teams and is responsible for event production under the Mining Indaba brand and its special events. Prior to joining the team, Feinsilver worked on the events operations team for Nielsen Business Media and has 18 years managing high end conferences and specialty tradeshows in a variety of industries. Feinsilver received his bachelor's degree from Stockton University in New Jersey. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Greater New York Chapter of Meetings Professional International.

Kael , Mining Indaba

Before joining the Mining Indaba team in August 2015, Kael was a Business Development Manager based in the Queensland Government's trade and investment office in London. In this role, Kael promoted investment into Queensland's mining and resources sector and supported junior exploration companies seeking engagement with the European mining investment community. Kael also worked with Queensland mining equipment, technology and services companies to access commercial opportunities across Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to relocating to London in February 2014, Kael held several mining and resources-focused roles in Trade and Investment Queensland's head office in Brisbane with a major focus on facilitating Indian investment into Queensland's coal and mineral sectors and promoting Queensland exports to India and South Asia. In 2010, Kael was assigned to the agency's Bangalore office after being recruited by Trade and Investment Queensland through the agency’s cadetship program. Maria is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations, placing her in an elite group of international event professionals. Maria joined the organising team in 2009 and is responsible for developing the global marketing and public relations strategy for the Mining Indaba brand. She is also responsible for the development and management of the brand’s corporate social initiatives specifically the Mining Indaba Bursary Programme and other education initiatives within Africa. Working directly with top level management, Maria is responsible for setting the strategic course for the marketing group, conducts research to support new market expansion, oversees the group’s international press relations program, and manages all marketing activities.
